Lucy and Maya were friends long before Luma Lab came to life. Their shared love of fitness has brought them to this moment: sharing accessible, boutique style fitness with you!
Working full time jobs and training at fitness studios on the side - Lucy a Lagree and pilatesinstructor and Maya a yoga teacher, they know the balancing act well. Luma Lab brings the studio to you with impactful workouts at home.

Meet Lucy
Meet Lucy
For the past decade, Lucy has built her career around helping people move better, feel stronger, and develop a deeper connection to their bodies. Her experience spans sports performance, strength training, Lagree, and Pilates, giving her a well-rounded approach to movement and fitness.
Lucy earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science and went on to receive her Master's degree in Kinesiology. She has continued to expand her expertise through specialized certifications in Olympic Weightlifting, Lagree, and Pilates.
Drawing from both her academic background and hands-on coaching experience, Lucy's teaching style combines evidence-based movement with intentional programming to help clients build strength, confidence, and longevity in their fitness journey.

Meet Maya
Maya’s love of yoga began senior year of high school when she started going to local classes with her mom. Her background in dance made yoga feel familiar and comforting. The rhythm, the connection to breath and inner power.
She taught yoga and mat Pilates at the UW-Madison recreation centers. Fast forward to a handful of years post-graduation, and a brief intermission from corporate America, she completed her 200hour yoga teacher training to teach at her favorite local studio alongside her fulltime job as an interior designer. Maya has since received Prenatal and Power Sculpt yoga teacher certifications, and has a Pilates Mat 1 certification.
